Brainstorm’s flagship products receive a number of new features that help users to vastly improve the quality of their virtual content creation
IBC 2024, stand 7.B47. Brainstorm, the leading innovator in real-time 3D graphics and virtual production solutions, at IBC will showcase Suite 6.1, the latest version of its flagship products: eStudio, InfinitySet, and Aston. Set for transforming broadcast workflows, virtual production, and XR/AR, Suite 6 brings a host of new features that elevate content creation, enabling the production of stunning, high-quality virtual content and enhancing storytelling capabilities.
Seamless integration with Unreal Engine 5.4
Suite 6.1 showcases deep integration with Unreal Engine 5.4, allowing InfinitySet to seamlessly control UE5 directly from its interface. This integration significantly enhances the user’s ability to manage, edit, and control UE blueprints, objects, and properties. The combination of Unreal Engine’s render with Brainstorm’s eStudio render engine is fully transparent, giving users the flexibility to choose which engine renders specific objects or scene parts. The enhanced Unreal Compositor simplifies the integration of real video feeds, such as keyed characters, within an Unreal Engine scene, blending Unreal Engine features with Brainstorm’s unique TrackFree™ capabilities, thus expanding the potential of both engines.
Sustainable and high-performance Virtual Production with advanced rendering capabilities
One of the most impressive aspects of Suite 6 is its ability to deliver high-performance virtual production using just one workstation, thanks to the new NVIDIA RTX™ 6000 Ada Generation GPU. This optimization reflects Brainstorm’s commitment to sustainability, as reducing hardware requirements helps clients lower their carbon footprint, power consumption, and overall costs.
InfinitySet now supports Dual-GPU workstations, enabling the distribution of rendering tasks between two GPUs. This advancement enhances rendering quality and performance, particularly in XR environments, by reducing hardware costs and simplifying workflows. Features like XR Config and CalibMate streamline setup and calibration processes with mathematical accuracy, minimizing human error.
Enhanced collaborative workflows with Aston
Aston receives significant updates to boost collaborative workflows. The new Graphic Instances feature simplifies the design process, granting lead designers better control. They can create pieces and concepts that the team can use to produce various versions while ensuring consistent looks and essential updates without additional team intervention. Aston’s StormLogic now includes new transitions and interactions, enhancing the visual impact of graphics playout. Additionally, Aston offers a built-in toolset for creating interactive projects compatible with touchscreens, supporting specific buttons to trigger actions and multi-touch gestures.
Miguel Churruca, Brainstorm’s marketing and communications director, highlights the significance of Suite 6: “The new Suite 6.1 represents a major leap forward for the Brainstorm product range. It not only refines an already sought-after lineup of broadcast, film, and corporate solutions but also integrates features that users have been requesting in their quest to create more advanced, engaging, and spectacular virtual content.”
