The Dan Technologies Group brings the ATG Brand to CJP, creating a UK-based virtual production and broadcast system integration powerhouse

CJP Broadcast Service Solutions Ltd and Dan Technologies A/S announce the completion of the ATG brand transfer from Dan Technologies to CJP. Providing ongoing services to the historic ATG customers, the arrangement will enable CJP to give ATG clients access to extended product expertise, premium technical support, top level virtual studio facilities and training.

Jonathan Hughes, managing director of ATG, joins CJP as the new head of bids and proposals in conjunction with the brand name transfer to secure continuity and ensure proper support of existing ATG customers.

As part of this brand transfer, CJP will take over support of ATG clients, as well as the right to use the ATG brand name within its marketing strategy.

“We have worked with ATG for years so this is the perfect fit to help us expand the CJP presence into the corporate and broadcast markets, and to bring additional support and services to existing ATG customers in the UK,” said Chris Phillips, founder and managing director of CJP.

“This decision will also allow CJP to expand its reach as CJP and Dan Technologies continue to work collaboratively on major international projects,” Phillips continued. “Our relationship with Dan Technologies has delivered a number of successful installations over the years and Dan Technologies has chosen the right partner to continue the legacy of the ATG brand in the UK.”

The transfer of the ATG brand name to CJP will simplify the process for joint customers in particular who can interface with a single company going forward. CJP also offers premium brand support which is an important factor for ATG customers. In addition, CJP runs a large technical team that will deliver additional engineering expertise to clients and can make demo studio facilities and training capabilities available to all its clients.

Christoffer Kay, Group COO, Dan Technologies added, “Blending the excellence of the ATG brand with the expertise and resources of CJP within the virtual production space will deliver continuity of support services and an enhanced offering to many historic ATG clients. CJP is emerging as a virtual production and broadcast powerhouse in the UK market, expanding into its existing vertical, and growing its business in the field of VP and broadcast. We are pleased to secure the ATG brand within this context.”

Dan Technologies will remain active in the UK market through its subsidiary Danmon Group UK, residing within the Group’s System Integration division, focusing on major infrastructure and transformation projects globally.
