At Broadley Studios, we aim to make every production as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
Recently, we welcomed Hound Dog Films back to our studio to fully utilise our high-tech virtual production setup for their latest project. With Sony FR7 cameras, Mark Roberts sliders, and Brainstorm3D’s InfinitySet, we provided the tools and expertise to bring their ambitious vision to life in a collaborative, efficient, and flexible environment.
To meet the creative demands of Hound Dog Films’ project, we set up a suite of professional-grade equipment:
• Sony FR7 Cameras with Sony G Master lenses ensured consistently clear, high-quality visuals, setting the foundation for a polished final product.
• Mark Roberts Sliders enabled smooth, cinematic camera movements, adding a dynamic touch to each shot and enhancing visual storytelling.
• Brainstorm3D InfinitySet allowed us to build an immersive virtual environment, importing 3D assets from Cinema4D to create a realistic, adaptable set tailored to the project’s needs.
• Blackmagic Atem 8K Constellation provided seamless multi-camera production, giving us the ability to transition between scenes and virtual sets with ease.
• Blackmagic Ultimatte Keyers took care of green screen compositing, handling green tinting, spill, and shadows effectively, ensuring professional results.
• Allen & Heath SQ5 for audio control, paired with Sennheiser Radios and Saanken Cos 11 Mics, captured sound with clarity and precision, ensuring the audio quality matched the high standard of the visuals.
This project was pre-recorded for later streaming, which required flexibility in our Virtual Production workflow. Our setup allowed for easy virtual set changes, slide adjustments, and the creation of realistic reflections and shadows, all managed seamlessly in post-production.
Hound Dog Films used our Studio 2, an ideal space for presenter PTCs, where our sliders and virtual backgrounds helped create a dynamic and adaptable environment. Our goal was to make sure they had everything needed to capture their vision precisely, supported by our team every step of the way.
